We discuss Carmen's journey directly from Valparaiso University to the world of freelance without a stop in corporate America. Carmen has a great passion for documentary filmmaking, as evidenced by a very special project she's working on called "Teacher of Patience," a documentary film meant to educate first responders and the greater community about how to communicate with individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
